Product Engineer – TRIM

About the role

The Product Engineer – TRIM will support Audi program product engineering activities at Lear's Tangier plant. Reporting to the Product Engineering Supervisor, the role focuses on feasibility studies, BOM management, and engineering change implementation using APQP methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and create technical specification documents.
• Conduct product feasibility assessments throughout program phases.
• Resolve design‑related issues (PDFA).
• Create and audit Bills of Materials (BOM) in the QAD ERP system.
• Control and manage engineering changes using the APQP approach.
• Support plant initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Engineering school degree (high school level or higher).
• Project management and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French.

Required skills

• QAD ERP system.
• APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodology.
