Product Marketing Manager

About the role

The Product Marketing Manager will define and execute the marketing strategy for our sports portfolio, driving growth, customer engagement and revenue across retail and digital channels. Acting as the bridge between third‑party partners, internal teams and international stakeholders, you will ensure successful product launches, positioning and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the product marketing roadmap aligned with business objectives, managing the full product lifecycle from launch to optimisation.
• Lead strategic planning for major sports events (World Cup, AFCON, Champions League, Club World Cup, etc.) and translate market trends into growth opportunities.
• Monitor product KPIs, design initiatives to boost acquisition, retention, play frequency and basket size, and evaluate profitability of new launches and campaigns.
• Create and execute go‑to‑market plans, coordinating communication with Brand, CRM, Trade Marketing, Digital and Retail teams to ensure consistent positioning.
• Collaborate with Technology, Trading, Operations, Compliance, Legal and international teams to implement and validate products, acting as the business owner for related projects.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking, market analysis and customer insight studies, turning findings into actionable product recommendations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the local product team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product marketing within the sports industry, preferably with a focus on football and major competitions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data, customer behaviour and competitive intelligence.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning local business needs with global standards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team coaching and performance monitoring.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technology, legal, compliance and commercial teams.
