Program Buyer

About the role

The Program Buyer supports the coordination between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams for vehicle development and series production. You will manage a defined supplier portfolio, drive negotiations, and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier kick‑off meetings after award confirmation and negotiate volume increases during development.
• Control and negotiate the impact of design changes, focusing on cost and timing.
• Release final start‑of‑production prices and manage change notices.
• Identify troubled suppliers or potential shortages and coordinate escalations with stakeholders.
• Support Supplier Quality teams to meet capacity and quality targets.
• Facilitate summary meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional specialty teams to drive negotiations and achieve cost targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supplier negotiation.
• Strong report‑writing ability and proactive mindset.
• Professional working proficiency in French (B2–C1) and English (B2–C1).
