Program Leader

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Program Leader to drive cross‑functional EMEA teams from project nomination through handover to serial production. You will be the primary interface with customers, ensuring flawless execution, risk mitigation, and on‑time launch of cutting‑edge automotive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all activities related to project development, from customer nomination to production hand‑over (CT Gate).
• Monitor and control program metrics, maintain master schedule, and ensure alignment with Aptiv procedures and strategy.
• Serve as the main customer contact for updates, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Conduct regular program reviews, track risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Synchronize operational activities, pilot builds, and prototype deliveries to guarantee a flawless start of production.
• Support launch readiness, oversee production ramp‑up, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership, strong communication, and team‑oriented work style.
• Deep understanding of automotive standards and product development processes (APQP, FMEA, DFMEA, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Risk and conflict management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
