Project BOM Pilot Underbody

About the role

We are looking for a Project BOM Pilot for the Underbody area to coordinate and maintain the engineering bill of materials (E‑BOM) within our automotive projects. The role will ensure data integrity, compliance and alignment across the generic, project and module BOMs while supporting prototype and serial releases.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the Project E‑BOM based on the Generic BOM.
• Collect, verify and validate BOM Change Requests from BCI teams.
• Ensure BOM compliance, data completeness and structural consistency in the PLM system.
• Represent the BCI team in weekly BOM Commission meetings.
• Prepare and secure Sync 3 (Prototype) and Sync 5 (Serial) releases.
• Create and manage ECOs and related release data.
• Monitor BOM quality KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Align Project, Module and Generic BOMs and track implementation across PLM.
• Deliver weekly BOM status reports to the PMO and Generic BOM Pilot.

Required profile

• Background in automotive engineering, industrial engineering or product lifecycle management.
• 3‑5 years of experience in BOM management and PLM environments.
• Good understanding of vehicle architecture, module structure, product configuration and variant management.
• Experience with part lifecycle and release processes.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of E‑BOM structures, product configuration and variant management.
• Proficiency with PLM tools, especially ENOVIA (Dassault Systèmes).
• Advanced Excel for BOM analysis, reporting and data consolidation.
• Experience with SAP BI 4 or similar business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with BOM Change Request files, PTA files, PowerTools, DocInfo and CODEP/EBOM viewers.
