Project Logistics Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Project Logistics Manager to lead the logistics side of change and replacement projects within the automotive sector. The role ensures seamless implementation of product, process and plant relocations while maintaining key logistics performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for all change projects (product changes, process updates, production line transfers, re‑localisation of production or delivery plants).
• Evaluate each project against logistics constraints and define the SOP (Start‑of‑Production) date together with the project team.
• Lead kick‑off meetings, create customer impact overviews and align demand, production and supply planning up to the SOP date.
• Maintain supply‑chain master data for new raw materials, semi‑finished or finished goods before implementation.
• Monitor and protect logistics KPIs (stock levels, delivery performance, flow) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage phase‑in/phase‑out projects, perform pre‑serial logistic checklists, ensure zero leftovers on phase‑out and guarantee on‑time delivery on phase‑in.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or BAC+5 in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry or a logistics department is a strong plus.
• Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical, reporting and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent organisational, flexible and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
