Project Manager – Temporary Contract (Agadir, Morocco)

About the role

Syngenta is seeking a Project Manager on a temporary contract to lead and deliver projects in Agadir-Ida-Outanane, Morocco. You will coordinate procurement, budget, and HSE activities to ensure trial development and facility readiness while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up procurement and HSE processes to secure equipment and facilities for trials.
• Manage budgets, planning, people, and third‑party relationships.
• Oversee small and large CAPEX portfolios, applying OpEx (Six Sigma) methodology to demonstrate benefits.
• Create, monitor, and close projects in the PPM CAPEX tool.
• Organise stakeholder meetings to align specifications, prioritize tasks, assess risks, and set deadlines.
• Collaborate with procurement to issue RFPs, evaluate tenders, and select contractors or suppliers.
• Generate, track, and close purchase orders in SAP Ariba.
• Control yearly invoice costs and maintain real‑time cost visibility.
• Monitor project schedules, raise concerns on deviations, and manage permits and licenses with local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Syngenta HSE and legal requirements, supporting Goal Zero initiatives.
• Update asset lists, handling disposals or transfers as needed.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Demonstrated track record of leading projects to successful completion.
