Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

COBCO is scaling its industrial operations in Morocco and seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of its quality management systems. You will ensure compliance with international automotive standards, support audits, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Lead internal and external audits, manage non‑conformities, and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor daily system operations, issue inspection reports, and track performance against quality objectives.
• Control and audit quality documentation, ensuring structured and compliant records.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to support cross‑functional problem‑solving and overall industrial performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality systems management, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Certification in IATF 16949 internal auditing or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Familiarity with core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective‑preventive action plans.
