Quality Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Quality Manufacturing Technician ensures both internal and external customer satisfaction by maintaining robust quality processes and providing close support to operations. This position plays a key part in upholding STMicroelectronics' quality standards across manufacturing lines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly follow‑ups on pending technical dispositions and support operations to meet commitments.
• Assist the supply chain with billing activities, especially at quarter‑end, and resolve blocking issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through internal audits such as VDA, process & anti‑mixing audits, and Gemba walks.
• Validate qualifications for all changes, new processes, products, and materials on FE/BE T&F lines.
• Ensure quality objectives, procedures, and system documentation are understood and applied by line operators.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or licence in Quality, Mechanics, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, supply chain, and customers.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
• VDA audit methodology.
• Process and anti‑mixing audit techniques.
• Gemba walk execution for continuous improvement.
• Supply‑chain coordination and billing support.
