Quantitative Developer – Graduate & Early‑Career

About the role

Phi Partners is expanding its Quantitative Services team in Casablanca and is looking for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to join as Quantitative Developers. You will work on real‑world projects that integrate pricing and risk models into sophisticated quant libraries for leading investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and optimise pricing or risk models within client‑specific quant libraries.
• Integrate quant libraries with highly connected IT systems used by front‑office trading desks.
• Collaborate closely with quant analysts, model developers, software engineers and front‑office IT teams.
• Participate in model validation, library upgrades and refactoring initiatives.
• Support backend infrastructure and computation platforms to improve performance.

Required profile

• Graduate (BSc/MSc) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in finance and quantitative modelling.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Experience with quantitative development concepts (model integration, code optimisation).
• Familiarity with programming in a quantitative context (e.g., C++, Python, or similar languages).
• Understanding of pricing, risk or analytics models is a plus.
