Rooms Division Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Rooms Division Manager oversees all rooms‑area departments at the Rabat Marriott Hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance. The role combines leadership of front‑office, concierge, engineering, and housekeeping teams with continuous improvement of service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rooms operations team, translating property goals into daily productivity targets and fostering a motivated, teamwork‑focused environment.
• Monitor guest satisfaction results, publish feedback promptly, and take proactive actions to address employee and guest concerns.
• Assist in managing front office, engineering/maintenance, and housekeeping functions, including scheduling, hourly duties, and adherence to brand service culture.
• Review financial statements and activity reports to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and maximize departmental profitability.
• Conduct HR activities such as interviewing, hiring, orienting new staff, and applying consistent disciplinary procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related area, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve guest and employee satisfaction, and meet financial targets.
