Science Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging science lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize class materials and maintain a decorated, learning‑rich classroom.
• Enter and update grades, design monthly assessments, and grade all assigned work.
• Record daily attendance and manage homework boards.
• Supervise playground duties and participate in school events, fairs, and community service projects.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Academic Coordinator to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Attend meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and institutional trainings.
• Promote open communication with students, parents, and staff, and refer emotional or family concerns to the psychologist.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet grading deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
