Segment Leader

About the role

The Segment Leader is responsible for planning production capacity and schedules to meet customer requirements, ensuring optimal equipment utilization and on‑time delivery within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan production capacity (equipment, personnel) and schedule shifts according to customer demand.
• Coordinate optimal utilization of production equipment.
• Ensure on‑time production and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Support production control by analysing previous‑day results (efficiency, quality, waste, rejects).
• Identify and implement countermeasures such as KOSU and KATA, and manage escalations when needed.

Required profile

• Engineer’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Fluent in French and English.
