Senior Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join Cnexia’s growing team in Morocco. The role focuses on designing, automating and securing Google Cloud network infrastructures that support our AI‑enhanced communication platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Private Service Connect pathways to link Gemini Enterprise Agents with internal databases, ensuring full data isolation.
• Develop, review and test declarative Terraform scripts to automate network configurations and prevent configuration drift.
• Use GCP Network Intelligence Center to run connectivity tests, analyse routing topologies and monitor packet health, detecting routing loops, latency spikes or BGP route drops.
• Design and manage global application load balancers to handle conversational traffic with zero downtime during scale‑ups or regional outages.
• Create and maintain Cloud Armor rule sets, ACLs and firewall policies to protect against DDoS attacks and unauthorized access.
• Collaborate daily with cloud architects, SREs and AI specialists in stand‑ups and engineering syncs to align deployments and resolve platform issues.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform networking.
• Active GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.
• Experience with Google Contact Center AI, CCAIP routing and secure network paths for Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
