Senior Data Engineer - Casablanca

About the role

Artefact is a global consulting firm helping organisations adopt data and AI. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on multidisciplinary client projects, delivering data‑driven solutions across sectors such as retail, luxury, telecom and healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in agile, cross‑functional teams to design and deliver data pipelines and applications.
• Deploy software to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) using Python and SQL.
• Apply DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, containerisation with Docker, and data observability with DBT.
• Develop expertise in areas like analytics engineering, ML engineering, cloud architecture or site reliability.

Required profile

• Experience across the full data value chain – infrastructure, data collection, ML model deployment, REST APIs, test‑driven development and CI/CD.
• Strong background in software engineering and DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Ability to set up and deploy ML models created by data scientists.
• Fluent English and French, with good communication skills for diverse audiences.
