Senior Data Engineer – Data Office (Tangier)

About the role

OPmobility is building a cutting‑edge Data Office to reshape its data landscape. As a Senior Data Engineer you will work at the intersection of data strategy, governance and analytics, helping the company make data‑driven decisions that accelerate the transition to clean, connected mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑construct project plans with business stakeholders, lead governance meetings and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Support stakeholders during the design phase and conduct post‑project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data models and products.
• Design, implement and maintain ETL/ELT/ESB processes, building optimal data pipelines and data APIs.
• Set up data quality controls, continuously improve pipelines and adopt CI/CD practices.
• Implement access policies for data sets and ensure secure data acquisition and integration.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in an IT‑related role, preferably within the automotive or mobility industry.
• Strong command of English.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure data acquisition and integration strategies.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing concepts and stakeholder collaboration.
