Senior Data Engineer

About the role

AXA Global Business Services in Morocco is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and industrialise scalable data pipelines and platforms. The role ensures high‑performance data ingestion, transformation, quality, security and accessibility across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and optimise end‑to‑end data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including batch and streaming pipelines.
• Model, organise and enhance data architectures to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure data quality, security and compliance through monitoring, documentation and governance.
• Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Maintain and improve performance of platforms such as Spark, Delta Lake and Kafka.
• Manage projects independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in an agile environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Power BI and Azure cloud architecture.
• Proven experience with big‑data technologies and data‑pipeline development.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Rigor, attention to detail, analytical mindset and results‑oriented approach.
• Adaptability to agile working methods and continuous improvement.
