Senior Financial Controller

About the role

The Senior Financial Controller will lead financial management, budgeting and cost optimisation for Magna Seating, an innovative supplier of complete automotive seating systems. You will ensure strong financial performance while supporting the company’s growth and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and medium‑/long‑term business plans.
• Evaluate project impacts (provisions, investments, transfers) on the P&L and balance sheet.
• Produce detailed analyses of financial and operational performance (EBITDA, ROI, net margin, etc.).
• Analyse cost accounting, identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Manage control of direct and indirect costs across production, logistics and procurement.
• Prepare financial performance reports for top management.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in finance, accounting or related field.
• 5‑8 years of proven experience in a similar financial controller role.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Expertise in cost management, internal control and accounting standards.
• High level of autonomy, rigor and responsibility.
• Ability to work in a team and manage emergencies.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
