Senior Manager, Platform Software Development

About the role

Oracle is looking for a Senior Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in Casablanca. The team will create strategic AI‑enabled platforms, application infrastructure, UI frameworks, and developer tooling, turning emerging AI technologies into secure, reliable services.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing software engineering organization in Morocco.
• Recruit, retain and grow engineers with expertise in AI, full‑stack development, UI frameworks and developer tooling.
• Provide clear goals, coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Partner with domain leaders to define priorities, staffing needs and delivery expectations.
• Represent the Morocco engineering group in architecture, delivery and operational reviews.
• Balance rapid experimentation with enterprise‑grade engineering rigor.

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary software engineering teams.
• Strong people‑management skills, including hiring, coaching and career development.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑changing environment and align technical work with business priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across matrixed organizations.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development expertise, including modern front‑end technologies.
• API development and data integration experience.
• Knowledge of AI concepts and AI‑enabled application development.
• Experience with UI frameworks, developer tooling and application infrastructure.
