Senior Officer, Award and Project Management Functional Excellence

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Officer to support the Award Management Functional Excellence team. The role ensures award and project management processes are up‑to‑date, fit for purpose, and enable country offices to deliver awards and projects on time, with quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for information management and compliance with award and project management systems.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve documents, learning materials, procedures and tools in line with the Quality Framework, donor requirements, OneNet and the LMS.
• Assist with sub‑award management, SLA monitoring and system development.
• Coordinate cross‑functional strategic planning and contribute to high‑priority transformation projects.
• Support the Business Partnering team and countries with analytics, data quality and risk management.

Required profile

• Unrestricted right to work in the chosen location.
• Fluent English and ability to flex to GMT+2 for meetings.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Experience in award or project management within a global or humanitarian context.
• Strong collaboration and learning mindset.
