Senior Project Manager – Faculty Development & AI

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of Al Akhawayn University’s strategy for faculty development and AI‑driven teaching initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines project management, instructional design, and technology integration to foster continuous competence building among faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and evaluate faculty development workshops, webinars, seminars and retreats, handling needs assessment, design, logistics and post‑event reporting.
• Identify and promote international faculty development opportunities such as conferences, certifications and scholarships.
• Design and implement AI‑based educational projects, assess their impact and ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Support faculty in online course creation, instructional design, recording, delivery and quality assurance using platforms like Canvas, MS Teams and Coursera.
• Maintain the AUI Faculty Chronicle and communicate development activities to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Collaborate with external partners and international centers for teaching and learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in project management within higher education.
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic.
• Project management certification or IT certifications are a plus.
