Senior Systems Engineer / Technical Leader

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who will also act as a Technical Leader. You will drive system requirements, modeling, verification and validation activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and formalise system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Maintain full traceability of requirements across subsystems and lifecycle artifacts.
• Develop and maintain system models using MBSE tools such as SysML, Capella or Cameo.
• Prepare and execute Verification & Validation plans, define test procedures, coordinate test execution and produce result reports.
• Participate in formal system reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) to ensure engineering rigor.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and integration teams to guarantee system‑level coherence.
• Support documentation, configuration‑management practices and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, with strong expertise in requirements engineering.
• Proficiency in MBSE methodologies and tools (SysML, Capella, Cameo or equivalents).
• Solid background in Verification & Validation, including test planning, execution and reporting, preferably in safety‑critical environments.
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills in English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
