Service Technician – Wind Turbine Maintenance

About the role

The Service Technician will join the Khalladi Wind Farm team to ensure reliable operation of Vestas V90 3 MW wind turbines and associated Balance‑of‑Plant (BOP) equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support high‑voltage system upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on Vestas V90 turbines following OEM and NOMAC guidelines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults; diagnose error codes and document findings.
• Repair or replace major components such as gearboxes, generators, blades, and controllers using specialized tools.
• Conduct tests, measurements, and high‑voltage system maintenance, including LOTO procedures.
• Complete work orders, checklists, AWP forms, and other required paperwork.
• Assist with heavy‑equipment rigging, crane operations, and site safety compliance.

Required profile

• Technical degree (DUT/BTS or Bachelor) in Electrical or Electromechanical engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, or 2–3 years on Vestas V90 models.
• Proven ability to perform up‑tower repairs and major component replacements.
• Strong understanding of safety rules, LOTO, and high‑voltage procedures.
