About the role
The SHE Manager will lead and develop the local Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) function for Roche, ensuring compliance with corporate and local standards while minimizing risk. This position works closely with senior leadership to embed a strong safety culture across the affiliate.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior and line management to provide expert safety guidance and promote Roche SHE objectives.
- Perform gap analyses, maintain the SHE handbook, and secure all required legal permits.
- Conduct formal risk analyses, periodic workplace safety inspections, and maintain a business continuity plan.
- Track safety metrics, including training, incidents, environmental emissions, and resource usage.
- Establish internal emergency management systems and liaise with external crisis teams, authorities, and the public.
Required profile
- University degree (License) in SHE or Engineering; Master’s degree in SHE preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the SHE field.
- Professional fluency in English, French, and Arabic.
