Staff Project Manager Engineer – Global Projects

About the role

The Staff Project Manager Engineer will lead and coordinate engineering projects across TE Connectivity's PRS product range, ensuring design, OPEX, CAPEX and timeline targets are achieved while working with globally distributed teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex engineering initiatives across multiple customers and product lines, ensuring design, OPEX, CAPEX and timeline targets are met.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams located in Austria, Czech Republic, Morocco, China, India and the Netherlands, reporting to the PMO Leader and the Project Approval Committee.
• Drive risk management, compliance and governance while supporting product managers in go‑to‑market strategies and VAVE execution.

Required profile

• Engineering university degree (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of project‑management experience.
• PMI certification (CAPM, PMP or PgMP) and strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix, multicultural environment and to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Six Sigma, SPC, MSA and AIAG statistical standards (Green/Black Belt preferred).
• Deep knowledge of electronics, physics, mechanics and plastics.
