Sub System Technical Leader – Wheels and Tires

About the role

As a Sub System Technical Leader (SSTL) focusing on wheels and tires, you will drive the development of automotive subsystems within ALTEN's engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of wheel and tire subsystems, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including mechanical, plastics, and PLM experts, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Apply CATIA and PLM tools to create detailed models, simulations, and documentation.
• Monitor and enforce QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support OEM and Tier‑1 partners, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in automotive development, preferably in an OEM or Tier‑1 environment.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities with a team‑oriented mindset.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level, capable of leading meetings in an international setting.
