Supplier Cost Analyst

About the role

TRIGO is seeking a Supplier Cost Analyst to lead on‑site cost audits for automotive wiring commodities. The role supports commodity buyers in cost negotiations and drives total purchase cost (TPC) reduction plans with suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site supplier cost audits for a defined commodity scope.
• Prepare and execute audit procedures, including documentation review and on‑site verification.
• Produce audit reports and cost‑based PBDs, then share findings with buyers and suppliers.
• Support buyers during cost negotiations based on audit results.
• Define and align TPC reduction plans with audited suppliers and track implementation.
• Collaborate with cost engineering to validate should‑cost referentials and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the automotive sector, especially automotive wiring.
• Proven background in Cost Analysis, Cost Engineering, Product or Purchasing Costing.
• At least 10 years of experience in cost optimisation and production processes within the auto industry.
• Strong leadership, organization and planning capabilities.
• Fluent in English and French, with willingness to travel weekly to supplier plants.
