System Administrator – Virtualization & Database (2 positions)

About the role

Marsa Maroc, the national leader in port terminal management, is seeking two System Administrators specialized in virtualization and database technologies. The role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of both Windows and Linux server environments supporting its extensive logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server and Linux servers.
• Manage virtualization platforms and associated resources.
• Install, backup, restore, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Oversee backup solutions, conduct restoration tests, and support disaster‑recovery exercises (PRA/PCA).
• Monitor infrastructure health, diagnose incidents, and provide technical resolution.
• Provide end‑user support and participate in production roll‑outs, maintenance windows, on‑call duties, and technical documentation.
• Enforce security policies and best‑practice operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2) in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience administering Microsoft systems, virtualization platforms, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Moroccan nationality.
• Ability to work under the age limit of 36 years at the application deadline.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Microsoft SQL Server installation, backup, restoration, and performance tuning.
• Backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
