Technical Assistant Manager

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Technical Assistant Manager to support the team responsible for mechanical and electrical operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development across facilities. You will work closely with technical staff, clients, tenants, contractors, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop technical staff, conduct performance reviews, and oversee recruitment.
• Coordinate daily team activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train employees.
• Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities, including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Assist in preparing operating and capital budgets and implement preventive‑maintenance improvements.
• Maintain building‑specific maintenance and safety manuals and coordinate work with external contractors.
• Communicate with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors, and support acquisition of new management contracts.
• Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with the latest technology trends.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred with 4‑6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, fire‑fighting systems, and project management.
• Background in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide teams and handle complex information.
