Technical Consultant - Database Administration

About the role

Phi Partners is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant specialized in Database Administration to support its banking clients. The ideal candidate will combine deep Oracle DBA expertise with a solid background in the financial services sector, delivering robust data integration and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines, performing data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Manage and optimise Oracle databases across development, UAT, and production environments, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and migration initiatives.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments, monitoring performance, capacity, and implementing security and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Develop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, QlikView or Tableau, and assist business users in defining KPIs.
• Provide production support for banking and risk‑management applications, investigate incidents, and participate in SIT, UAT and deployment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in technical consulting, database administration and data integration within the banking or treasury domain.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with functional consultants, project managers and client teams.
