Technical Lead

About the role

Stratagems is seeking a hands‑on Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of AI‑enabled, integration and eCommerce solutions for its customers. The role is fully remote, with occasional travel for workshops, customer meetings and company events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a delivery team, own end‑to‑end solution architecture across AI, integration and commerce workstreams.
• Gather functional and non‑functional requirements directly with clients and translate them into robust technical designs.
• Build and ship React, Node.js and TypeScript applications, agentic solutions, APIs, internal tools and composable storefronts.
• Design, develop and evaluate AI agents, prompt engineering, tool/function calling and guardrails.
• Automate workflows using n8n, Patchworks and the 8Kit toolkit, including complex agentic orchestration.
• Integrate real‑time bidirectional data flows between ERP, PIM, CRM and storefront systems.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews and recruit new team members.
• Produce unit and integration tests, documentation and functional/technical designs.
• Demo solutions to customers and act as the technical voice in sales conversations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and adapting to a fast‑moving startup environment.
