Technical Sales Engineer – Solar PV, BESS & EMS

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to expand our solar PV, battery energy storage system (BESS) and energy management system (EMS) business across Morocco. You will combine engineering expertise with commercial acumen to design tailored solutions, demonstrate their value, and close deals with a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in PV, BESS and EMS throughout Morocco.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including customer meetings, site visits, proposals, quotations, negotiations and contract closing.
• Build long‑term relationships with industrial, commercial, agricultural clients, EPCs and installers.
• Analyse customer energy needs and design appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare system configurations, technical documentation, RFQs and business cases covering CAPEX, payback and ROI.
• Maintain deep knowledge of our product portfolio and its applications.
• Travel across Morocco for client visits, site assessments, presentations and sales activities.
• Support on‑site installation and commissioning when required.
• Report on sales pipeline, forecasts and market feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in solar PV, energy storage or electrical engineering, preferably with customer‑facing or sales responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters and electrical design; BESS and EMS knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to prepare technical proposals, RFQs and business cases with ROI calculations.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within Morocco.
