Technologist

About the role

The Technologist at TE is responsible for collecting and documenting inspection and quality‑check data, analysing the results, and taking corrective actions. The role supports safe, sustainable and efficient production of plastic and silicone molded components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection‑molding machines and tools, monitor settings and adjust as required.
• Assist supervisors in aligning resources, analyse critical performance metrics and report to management.
• Ensure project timelines are met, record production quantities and provide guidance to newer team members.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to troubleshoot operational flow issues and adapt procedures to meet product specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Materials or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in plastic injection, semiconductor molding or silicone molding.

Required skills

• Horizontal and Liquid Injection Molding experience.
• Advanced operation of injection‑molding machines (SSD, ARBURG, FANUC, ENGEL).
• Advanced handling of industrial robots (SEPRO, ARBURG, ENGEL, WITTMANN).
• Basic programming knowledge in C and C++.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
