Terminal Planner – Vessel & Yard Operations

About the role

As a Terminal Planner you will ensure efficient planning and execution of vessel and yard operations within the Integrated Operations Centre. You will use terminal operating systems to coordinate with shipping lines, planning teams and terminal staff, supporting safe and productive terminal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate vessel operations, delivering cargo control, load lists and related documentation on time.
• Collaborate with shipping lines, liner operations and global stowage planners to resolve discrepancies and support safe vessel handling.
• Prepare and communicate load and discharge sequences while updating terminal systems.
• Execute yard planning through container decking, system configuration and inventory management.
• Develop contingency plans to minimise unproductive moves during exceptions.

Required profile

• Master’s or Engineering degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Business Administration).
• At least one year of experience in planning, operations or logistics.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with strong analytical and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced computer proficiency and confidence working with operational systems and data‑driven processes.
• Experience with terminal operating systems and yard inventory management tools.
