Vendor Management Senior Manager

About the role

As a Vendor Management Senior Manager you will lead BCG X’s global contingent workforce operations, overseeing the full vendor lifecycle from market research to financial settlement. Reporting to the Global Head of Vendor Management, you will act as a strategic advisor to senior internal leaders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end vendor lifecycle: market research, partner selection, legal & commercial negotiations, contract formalisation, onboarding, quality assurance, and financial settlement.
• Guide and mentor a worldwide team of Vendor Management Specialists, driving accountability, professional growth and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across BCG and external vendors to ensure compliant, efficient and scalable contingent workforce processes.
• Integrate AI and Agentic AI tools into vendor management workflows to enhance intelligence and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience engaging senior leaders and external partners with executive presence.
• Strong autonomous problem‑solving ability in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated project‑team leadership across distributed, multi‑time‑zone teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across cultures and seniority levels.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑driven vendor management platforms or similar automation tools.
