Accounts Assistant / Executive – Marrakech

About the role

A full-time Accounts Assistant / Executive position in Marrakech, Morocco. The role covers day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end closing, and requires fluent English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, aging reports, statements of account (SOA) and intercompany transactions.
• Participate in system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and the annual audit process.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Assist with audits, tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent English.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude and initiative.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
