About the role
This position is with a fast‑growing HealthTech startup that provides an AI‑powered SaaS platform for medical claims auditing. As a Business Development Representative you will help build the sales playbook from the ground up, targeting high‑level finance leaders in self‑insured companies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo to engage CFOs, Controllers and VP Finance leaders.
- Craft highly personalized connection requests and follow‑up sequences.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in HubSpot, ensuring lead tracking and data integrity.
- Book, confirm and lead initial screening conversations to qualify inbound and outbound leads.
- Support a parallel outreach effort focused on building relationships with insurance brokers.
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to qualified conversations, show rates and progression to demo stages.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and sales strategies.
Required profile
- Intellectually curious self‑starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior financial executives.
- Motivation to progress to an Account Executive or leadership role.
