Chef de département Non alimentaire

About the role

The Department Head for Non‑food will be based in a Carrefour hypermarket in Meknes and will be responsible for implementing the Group’s commercial policy within the Textile and Bazar sections. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the department to achieve sales, margin and service objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce commercial policies for the Textile/Bazar department.
• Monitor assortment, stock levels and merchandising plans.
• Drive promotional and marketing activities to boost sales.
• Manage store assets and merchandise flow.
• Analyse sales, margin and consumable budgets and report trends.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a store manager or aisle manager in textile or bazar retail.
• Strong ability to organise stock, implement planograms and monitor performance indicators.
• Experience in negotiation, budgeting and adherence to procedures.
• Customer‑service orientation, leadership and strong communication skills.
