Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The CFO drives financial performance, ensures long‑term stability, and acts as a business partner to commercial operations and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in formulating company strategy and tactical initiatives.
• Develop and implement financial and tax strategies.
• Lead capital risk, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee accounting, investor relations, tax, and treasury functions.
• Monitor cash balances, cash‑flow forecasts, liquidity and refinancing risk.
• Ensure statutory reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and manage outsourced HR services.
• Serve as primary contact for regulators, auditors, and banking authorities.
• Act as Company Secretary and contribute to Board meetings.

Required profile

• Experienced finance manager with at least 5 years in senior financial roles.
• University degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of the local market and Scania’s regional ambitions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills and alignment with Scania’s leadership values.
