Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Morocco

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the finance function across Morocco, shaping financial strategy, safeguarding the organization’s financial health, and acting as a strategic partner to the executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO and functionally to the Group CFO, the role covers planning, analysis, accounting, treasury, risk, tax, compliance and finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team, influencing commercial, operational and investment decisions.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long‑term growth objectives.
• Provide insight and challenge on pricing, sourcing, credit, capital allocation and investment priorities.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and medium‑to‑long‑term financial planning.
• Build financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses for commodity prices, FX, freight and financing costs.
• Deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual management reports with performance insights.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Drive accountability for financial targets across business functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading finance functions in a working‑capital‑intensive environment.
• Proven ability to partner with sales, procurement, supply chain and operations leaders.
• Strong strategic mindset with a track record of influencing senior leadership.
