Client Finance Specialist (Accounts Receivable)

About the role

ProductLife Group is looking for a Client Finance Specialist (Accounts Receivable) to join its Finance team. The role covers managing customer accounts, invoicing, payment tracking and debt collection, with the aim of keeping financial data accurate and improving the billing and cash collection cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Invoicing: set up projects and products in management systems, prepare, issue and verify customer invoices, generate account statements and billing reports, and keep invoicing information accurate and compliant.
• Accounts receivable: record and reconcile payments, follow up on outstanding receivables, perform customer account reconciliations and maintain up-to-date customer records.
• Collections: follow up on payments, monitor overdue invoices and balances, analyse payment delays and propose solutions, and handle billing inquiries and disputes.
• Reporting and control: prepare monthly financial reports, take part in month-end closing, ensure the accuracy of financial data and support improvements to financial processes.
• Collaboration: work with Operations, Sales and Finance teams, gather information needed for accurate invoicing and respond to internal stakeholder requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, General Accounting or Finance; international experience is an advantage.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional-level English.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and proven invoicing and collections experience.
• Advanced Excel and good knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, organisational skills and ability to work independently in a team.
