Commercial Finance and RGM Manager – Africa & Trading

About the role

Kraft Heinz is looking for a Commercial Finance and RGM Manager for its Africa & Trading business unit, based at the El Tagamoa El Khames Commercial Office. The role carries overall responsibility for commercial financial planning and management, providing insight and recommendations to the Commercial Leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing functions, supporting the execution of the commercial strategy against company targets and financial requirements.
• Provide visibility on financial performance of each commercial unit (top line and contribution margin), by category and customer (cost-to-serve).
• Set and evaluate pricing and promotion initiatives and assess their impact on volume (elasticity) and market share.
• Manage and control deals and allowances P&L line, coordinating with the Financial Controller to ensure completeness of distributor cost accruals, and monitor the overall financial health of business relationships.
• Support Sales and Marketing in preparing materials for monthly performance reviews, annual operating plans and other key routines, including monitoring sales channel and distributor performance.
• Calculate sales team commissions based on targets, taking into account supply drops and mix profitability.
• Drive ownership and continuous improvement, maintain knowledge of the value chain, and own the NPD pricing and promotion strategy, marketing initiatives and campaigns, including post-evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and internal control rules and manage internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7-9 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in FMCG.
• Fluent in English.
• Agility, enthusiasm, passion for improvement and proactivity.
• Complex analytical skills, high managerial skills, ability to simplify, communication skills and a results-driven approach.
