Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the role

COFICAB is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive efficiency across its manufacturing operations in Morocco. The role focuses on applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support improvement projects targeting productivity, quality, safety, and cost-efficiency using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events, engaging cross‑functional teams to identify waste and implement sustainable solutions.
• Analyze process data and KPIs to detect performance gaps and recommend actionable improvement strategies.
• Standardize and document improved processes to ensure long‑term adoption and integration.
• Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement tools to employees at all levels.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) strongly preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Good level of French and English.

Required skills

• Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S implementation.
• Value stream mapping and process mapping.
• Root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• KPI tracking, reporting, and problem‑solving.
• Knowledge of industrial standards (ISO, IATF 16949).
