About the role

Valeo is looking for an HSE Engineer to turn safety requirements into practical actions on the shop floor. You will combine risk analysis, inspections and regulatory monitoring to improve daily practices and ensure a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Check equipment compliance and ensure safety and security equipment meets applicable requirements.
  • Carry out risk analyses to identify hazards and support appropriate prevention measures.
  • Develop and oversee Health, Safety, Security and Environment operating procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections and internal audits, recommend improvements and define corrective actions.
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions, taking required investments into account.
  • Track regulatory developments and changes in legislation relevant to the site.

Required profile

  • Degree in Industrial Management or Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Curiosity, initiative, sense of responsibility and strong communication skills.
