Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will serve as the strategic business leader for the hotel's overall operations, overseeing Rooms, Food & Beverage, and culinary divisions. This senior role ensures the delivery of Ritz‑Carlton standards, drives operational excellence, and aligns cross‑functional teams to meet brand objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies that support brand service standards and financial targets.
• Monitor profitability and guest‑satisfaction metrics, analyze trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Manage revenue goals by reviewing sales performance, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses against budget.
• Lead department heads, fostering alignment, communication, and accountability across all operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with brand initiatives, owner relations, and employee satisfaction programs.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or management operations within the hospitality sector.
