Director of People and Culture

About the role

The Director of People and Culture will lead the HR function for Four Seasons Resort Marrakech, shaping a world‑class employee experience that supports the brand’s luxury service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, retention, and internal communications.
• Ensure wage‑and‑hour compliance, manage workers’ compensation, and handle legal matters related to hotel staff.
• Monitor staff performance, conduct disciplinary reviews, and implement a regular performance appraisal program.
• Develop succession planning, career counseling, and workforce forecasting aligned with hotel needs.
• Manage the People & Culture budget, including benefits, labor costs, and cost‑effective events.
• Design and execute recruitment, selection, and pre‑employment procedures in line with Four Seasons policies and local laws.
• Identify training and development needs, create programs to uphold core and culture standards, and prepare employees for internal promotion.
• Lead wellness initiatives and drive diversity, inclusion, and belonging programs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior HR leadership, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation, wage compliance, and employee relations.
• Proven ability to manage large HR budgets and drive cost‑effective initiatives.
• Experience developing performance appraisal systems, succession plans, and career development programs.
• Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, retention strategies, and diversity & inclusion leadership.
