Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

The Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for Abbott. Working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams, you will provide high‑quality financial insights that drive strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models for P&L, cash flow and CAPEX.
• Analyze actual versus budget/forecast variances, identify key drivers and recommend improvement actions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and dashboards with financial and operational KPIs.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, IT and other functions to challenge assumptions and support strategic projects.
• Improve and automate planning and reporting processes, enhancing data accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, coach and develop the FP&A team (if applicable).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, audit or consulting, preferably in an international or matrix environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
