Freelance Linguistics Specialist

About the role
Editage, the flagship brand of CACTUS, is creating a global pool of freelance contributors to support AI and language‑based projects. As a Freelance Linguistics Specialist you will work remotely on a variety of short, task‑based assignments that involve reviewing, annotating, and localising Arabic content.
Key responsibilities
- Review and refine text, translations, and captions across domains such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
- Transcribe conversational audio and perform quality checks.
- Label or annotate voice, text, or image content for AI training.
- Review and correct AI‑generated outputs.
- Assist in localising content for AI models, ensuring accurate dialect identification.
Required profile
- Near‑native proficiency in the target Arabic dialect(s) and strong command of English.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
