Front Office Manager – Guest Services

About the role

The Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front‑office operations, including bell staff, switchboard, and guest services. This full‑time position ensures smooth check‑in/check‑out processes, guest satisfaction, and financial performance of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day front‑office activities, maintaining quality standards and customer expectations.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and ensure timely communication with staff.
• Manage staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
• Provide regular feedback, recognize performance, and drive results aligned with property financial goals.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the front‑office team, acting as a role model for professional behavior.
• Maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensure continuity of operations in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related area, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, organize work, and meet departmental goals.
