Hardware System Engineer

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking a senior Hardware System Engineer with extensive experience in automotive high‑voltage power electronics. You will lead a team of hardware engineers, drive system‑level inverter design, and act as the technical liaison with European component suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define concepts and lead technical design of high‑voltage inverter systems.
• Provide technical leadership on both hardware and software engineering competencies.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment with component suppliers.
• Validate technical definitions with customers and guarantee compliance.
• Travel to Milan and Brussels approximately once every two months for coordination and reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in automotive high‑voltage power electronics.
• Proven ability to lead hardware engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
